THE IMPACT SITE - Pellet Posy- Seen almost everywhere, these flowers don't retaliate when you attack them. ![]() Cool effect! NOTE: The asterisk (*) indicates that that animal is only in the area during challenge mode and does not exist in that area during the main story mode. As you get beamed up in the Onion, you'll bounce back, and see fireworks sprouting from it. As long as you have four pikmin to carry you, you should be riding in style. ![]() > And finally, after a hard days work, you can have your pikmin carry you to an Onion by pressing down on the control pad. > As a note, if you ever get more than 1000 pikmin inside any one Onion, the counter will reset back to 000- however, the 1000 pikmin you picked will still be counted and be used as reserve. > When your pikmin are dazed, using B will revive them quicker and call them back to you instead of trying to retaliate against the enemy, giving you a better chance for another offensive. > Holding A will sort your Pikmin into the color of the pikmin you're holding in your hand along with the attribute associated with it (leaf, bud, flower). They will slowly swim to shore and, if they have enough breath, will make it to dry land. > Pikmin that are drowning can be saved if you get towards shore and use B. Those that you can't, well, tough luck for those guys. > With burning Pikmin, those that you can call back will shake off the flame and return to you with little or no damage. > When pikmin of two colors are split equally between an item or pellet, the pikmin color you threw FIRST will be the Onion that the item will be recieved in. > Strangely enough, if you press down on the control PAD (not stick), you become invulnerable to all attacks. With that in mind, they can create faster routes back to the Onion if there is a quicker route across water. > Only blue pikmin can carry stuff across water. An example of using this is the Pearly Clamclamp. Smaller waves also seem to stay alive longer than larger ones, although they don't do as much damage. > Larger armies are harder to control than small ones. Beware if it is close to sunset and you are battling a large enemy in hopes of bringing it back to the Onion. ![]() > Flower and bud pikmin are indeed faster than leaf pikmin, but they can lose their petals if hit in battle. !-! !
